Mommy and Me

Mommy and Quinn go to two mommy and me classes a week.  At our Wednesday class, there is singing, dancing and social activities for the babies.

 In our Friday class, mommies spend most of the time learning about different age appropriate topics, while the babies crawl around and put all the toys in their mouths.  The last 10 mins is left for puppet time, story time, or parachute.  Quinn usually does not stray far like the other babies.  She's always within grabbing distance.  So when she seemed really interested in puppet time, I plopped her in the middle and scooted back. 

 She's not a fan of the parachute yet.  But getting better.  She used to cry with the parachute, now she watches.

I was using the front facing camera on my Iphone, and quinn was getting a kick out of looking at herself.

The Long Crawl

Quinner is crawling, and with Mama as bait, she can go pretty far.  As long as the dogs don't intercept her.

Teething Biscuits

Nana was very nice and brought some teething biscuits for Quinners.  

She was a little confused at first.  

But she got into it. 

She was having a great time with Nana.  

And between Nana and the Teething biscuit, she was one happy kid.  

She and Nana are getting along very well. 

I'm a Big Girl Now

And I can feed myself.  

Well she tried to feed herself.  And she was mostly successful.  With some mess along the way.  

It started off like any other feeding.  

Then her lightning hand got a hold of the food.  

So Mama just decided to let her feed herself.  

Quinners had a great time feeding herself

But she kind of made a huge mess of herself and her clothes and her bib and the chair.  And she fed the dogs for us.  She did somehow manage to get the food in her mouth despite spreading it everywhere in a 5 foot circle

But she had a really great time.  

And she's so cute, mess or no, we'll keep on letting her do it.  

She's crawling

Quinn finally took her first crawls forward a few weeks ago and now she's a pro crawler. 

And she likes to grab things to stand up.  It's her favorite pastime. 
We babyproofed the house just in time.

She doesn't quite have her throwing arm yet but she sure is trying to play with Lucy.

Her New Hat

Aunt Margie made Quinn a lovely hat.  

And she looked adorable in it.  

And she was very happy to show it off.  

Well, until she decided that she absolutely had to get the hat off.  

And then we were done.

Razzberries

Someone has figured out how to blow razzberries.  

Sometimes

She just wants to pull the camera right out of my hands.

Notice the white line on her neck?  That's the part the folds of her neck hide.  

As you can see it doesn't get any sunlight.  

She was being fierce.  I'm not sure why though, she gets everything she wants...

And she knows it.  

She likes to make funny faces.  

And it just makes me adore her more.

She was enjoying her time sitting on the stoop.  

Then she realized I was taking photos.  oh oh.  

Christmas

For Quinn's first Christmas Eve Party she put on her nicest dress.  And I think she looked quite lovely.  

And on Christmas Day she brought out her goofiest smile.  

Of all the boxes the little blue one that was for Mommy seemed to bring the most interest out of her.  

She has good taste.  Bad news for Daddy.
