Noah's Ark at the Skirball Cultural Center is pretty amazing.

The animals are really neat and there's so much for the kids to do.

There's mama crawling behind Quinn under the big elephant.  Dada just didn't fit up there.
Probably would have gotten stuck.

And here's our little poop cleaners.

And then there was this lady.  I think this was her idea of watching the kids.  And it just so happens that the kids she was watching nearly ran over Quinn and Justine a couple times and were stealing toys from everyone.  Surprise surprise.

It's always a lot of fun when the Brooksies come over.
And it's summer so we have to take advantage of it right?

Even Nini was flying into the pool!

It was a good time.

Our Little Monkey

So our little monkey got some gifts in the express and after trying on the pants she decided that the Panda should go "in pants! in pants!"

Yeah, she's pretty funny.

Botanical Gardens San Diego Part 4

So we were leaving Tuesday after memorial day and it was a little far to go back to the Safari Park.  And not enough time for Seaworld or the Zoo.  Luckily the master planner Mama found the San Diego Botanical Garden 10 minutes from the hotel.

They have a pretty wonderful kids area.

Avery awesome treehouse

a little babbling brook

wild lizards,

kids with smelly feet

and the occasional rabbit.

Sometimes you need a little incentive to get across a rope bridge.

She was very proud of the little house she built.

But the botanical garden really is nice.  Tons of local and exotic plants if that's what you like and the kids area really is nice.  We spent over an hour there and Quinn was too busy to even play in half the areas they have.  San Diego is REALLY a great place for kids.  And they have Claim Jumpers.

Claim Jumper! San Diego Part 3

So what did we do on Memorial day?
Safari Park, Cottonwood Park and capped it off with ClaimJumper!

Think she's figuring out how to tackle the gargantuan sized kids fish and chips.

The direct route was best.

Like daughter like Mama

Ice cream?  Nope.  Just a spoonful of ketchup.

Oh yeah.

Cottonwood Park San Diego Part 2

After the Safari Park and her nap we took her to Cottonwood Park in Carlsbad.

It's a really nice park and she had a great time playing there.

She's turned into a little monkey lately.  She just loves to climb and swing.

San Diego Part 1

This is how our trip to San Diego started.

I guess it was a long car ride and she just wanted to relax.

Sunday was the Safari Park.  She really really liked it.

You get much better views than at the LA Zoo.

And the tram around the park is great.  She got to see all the animals she sees at the natural history museum but they're actually moving.
