Legoland!!!

It was soooooo boring waiting to load the car

Quinn is and has been fascinated by other children's trauma.  In this case it was a very lengthy nosebleed that required medical and security assistance.  She was captivated.

She totally chose Auntie Amanda for the rollercoaster over dear old dad.  Better get used to this.

She was doing her best to help Tommy collect pieces of lego for his masterpiece.

Late night pizza.  Post teeth brushing of course.

I love it when she sings along to her shows.  In this case it was Jake and the Neverland Pirates.  Which kind of explains the fierce face...

Hope everyone else on the train loved the singing!

She's a character

At least now she'll pose for photos.
What you get depends on the day.  This one was golden though.

Quinn's Recital

It was pretty special.  But a total zoo.  Tons of obnoxious parents and grandparents and people just all over the place.

It was really cute how she and her two friends from preschool huddled together when they first got on the stage.  Strength in numbers I think.  Their teacher had to separate them to have them correctly spaced for the dance.

And that's when Quinn came VERY close to losing it.  I've blown up the picture so you can see.  The tears were on their way.  I can say I blame her.  It was dark and moody and there were probably 200 parents in the seats clapping and cheering.  I would probably cry if I was up there.  (click on the photo to enlarge it if you can't see her face)

But the lights went on and she pulled it together fast!

The dance went off without a hitch.

I'm very proud of her.  It must have been really daunting to be up there.

She's a trooper and the best part is that she enjoyed it and wants to do it again.

Bravo!!!
Yeah, she didn't crack a smile the entire time.  She was very deep in concentration.
But unlike the smiley kids she didn't miss a single step.  I'd love her to be smiling in the photos but that's how she is.  When it's important to her she's all business and concentration.

1 year later

More still from Palm Springs

It was a slightly ridiculous desert but the kids loved the "floating island"

And who doesn't love chocolate fondue

Fondue made them crazy

The cheetoh tuna sandwich.

More Snaps from Palm Springs

They're a couple of monkeys

Nana bought hats for everyone!  You can guess which is my favorite hat...

They looooved the pool.

Cousins!

Spring Break!

Spring Break in Palm Springs!!!

Mama found an great house for all of us for the week.  The pool was amazing.

And there was a game room!

And the kids all had a great time playing the video games of my youth,
which were brand new to them.

Like I said, they had a great time.

Really like this one.

Our Trip to San Diego

It's always fun going to San Diego

She loves the beach.

And she was having SOOOO much fun getting buried to the neck in the sand!

Happy Birthday and Valentines Day Mama!

The little monkey was standing in the doorway making poses for us!

Not sure where she came up with them but they were awesome.

But if you ask her, her favorite part of the trip was the Bicycle cart!

Chinese New Year at Disneyland!

We were very excited to go to the Lunar New Year Celebration at Disneyland.  And it wasn't too bad.
Quinn Was v

Quinn Was very excited for the Char Siu Bao.

Not so excited upon tasting.

And the dude with the hat is in practically every picture.  Standing front and center tall as can be.
He was filming the whole thing with his GoPro.  Go home weirdo!  Let the kids through!

It was a nice day out regardless.
